Consultation Fee

A non-refundable consultation fee of $50 is required for all initial consultations. This fee serves to secure your appointment slot and is credited towards the total service cost if the appointment is booked.

Appointment Booking

A non-refundable $50 deposit is required for all appointment bookings. The deposit is applied towards the total service cost on the day of service. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance by phone. Rescheduling can be accommodated once without additional charge. A second reschedule requires a new $50 deposit. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late must contact us to confirm their appointment status.

Payment Policy

All clients are required to pay a deposit at the time of booking and must pay the full remaining balance on the day of their appointment. Accepted payment methods are card (subject to a 3.5% processing fee) or cash. No other forms of payment will be accepted.

Sales Policy

All sales are final. Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC does not entertain returns, refunds, or exchanges under any circumstances. This policy is in place due to the nature of our products, as hair products cannot be resold and may compromise the quality and health for subsequent buyers.

Pricing

Prices listed on the website may be subject to change depending on services rendered. Any changes will be communicated to clients before or after the service.

Client Communication

We promise to promptly inform you of any unforeseen circumstances via speech, text, or call. To ensure your safety and comfort, please inform us of any allergies or sickness before your appointment.

Service Satisfaction

Upon completion of the hair service, clients must specify if they are satisfied with the result before leaving the premises. If a client requests a redo of the service before leaving, Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC reserves the right to assess the request and may revise the hair service at its discretion. A client will be asked if they are liking the service at the beginning and in the middle of the service being provided. At this point a client has a right to check the hair and say what they do not want. Examples can be style, size or tightness.

Kids Policy

For the safety of your children, adults must accompany them at all times until their hair service is completed. Drop-offs are not permitted.

Photography

Before and after photos and videos may be taken for educational and marketing purposes. Please inform us if you prefer not to have your images used for promotional purposes.

Understanding the Services

While we strive to achieve your desired style, you may not always achieve the exact desired style. And please be aware that hair services may involve pain or skin abrasion. Various products may be used for styling, washing, and drying. Exact results may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Service Duration

Service durations are estimates and may vary based on individual requirements and circumstances.

Health and Safety

For the safety and well-being of all clients and staff, pets, alcohol, smoking, or drugs are not allowed on the premises.

Protection Policy

Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC reserves the right to amend policies or refuse service in situations deemed unsafe or unfavorable for staff or clients.

Client Information Requirement

All clients must provide their full name, email address, physical address, and a photo of the front and back of their driver’s license prior to each appointment. Clients must also disclose any current sickness or contagious disease within the last 2 weeks. These measures are in place to ensure the safety and protection of both our clients and the business.

Waiver of Liability Agreement

Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that hair care services, including but not limited to braiding, styling, washing, and drying, involve inherent risks and uncertainties. These risks may include, but are not limited to, skin irritation, allergic reactions, pain, discomfort, or dissatisfaction with the results.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or injuries arising from or in connection with the hair care services provided by the Company. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims for negligence, breach of contract, or personal injury.

Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that I have chosen to receive hair care services voluntarily, and I am aware of the potential risks involved. I agree to assume full responsibility for any consequences resulting from my decision to receive these services.

Understanding of Policies

I have read and understand the work policy of Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC, including the policies regarding consultation fees, appointment booking, payment methods, sales policies, pricing, client communication, kids policy, photography, understanding the services, service duration, health and safety, and protection policy including the waiver of liability agreements and all other policies.

Compliance with Instructions

I agree to comply with all instructions provided by the Company’s staff regarding the hair care services, including any aftercare instructions or recommendations.

Consent to Photography

I consent to the Company taking before and after photos and videos of me for educational and marketing purposes, as outlined in the work policy.

Release of Claims

I hereby waive any and all claims against Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC arising from or related to the provision of hair products and services, including but not limited to claims for negligence, breach of contract, or personal injury.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, arising from or in connection with my receipt of hair products and services.
