Nora’s Locs & Braids LLC is a community-centered hair care haven committed to serving people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities. Building on the long-standing legacy of the Awakening Smiles Initiative, which has uplifted vulnerable individuals and families through compassion and service, we seek to continue this mission locally and globally by using hair care as a pathway to dignity, healing, and confidence.
To uplift individuals in need by providing compassionate, affordable hair care services and education that restore dignity, build confidence, and spread joy. We partner with civil society, private businesses and nonprofit organizations to reach special populations and underserved communities through intentional, heart-led service.

Through Nora’s Locs & Braids® Corporate Social Responsibility Program,
your gift funds compassionate, confidence-restoring hair care
for individuals facing hardship.
Our Community Support & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program is designed to help individuals experiencing financial hardship or difficult life circumstances access professional hair care services at a reduced cost.
Each application is reviewed individually. Assistance is based on demonstrated need, the requested service, available supporting information, and available CSR resources.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Assistance may cover all or part of the difference between the regular service cost and the amount the client can reasonably afford to pay.
